The folks at my quilt guild are sewing up quilts to donate to local senior centers for Thanksgiving. One of the blocks in the challenge is an easy but dramatic cross block. I pieced half a dozen out of scraps this week.
The blocks are supposed to be a little wonky, and it’s a good thing too. I got better at cutting and chain-stitching them as I went on. They are a bit addictive, since they’re so fast to knock out.
Do you have a favorite block for bees? I’d love some more ideas.
